The EDA level 3000 series benefits from the technology that made the 2000 series famous. A pendulum positions itself without restraint under the effect of the earth's gravity. Its position is detected with extreme precision and is electronically converted into a voltage proportional to the displacement. This level is as simple to use as a bubble level. The only controls are a switch and a zero adjuster.
Applications
The EDA electronic level can be used in the construction and set up of mechanical, aeronautical, and naval constructions. It can also be used in the installation and construction of rockets, radar centres, antennas, and thermal and nuclear power stations.
The EDA electronic level checks the leveling, parallelism and squaring of plane or cylindrical surfaces. It can be used to measure flexions or stresses. The analog output allows control signal, recording or display at a distance. An essential use of the EDA electronic level is the inspection of slides and tables of machine tools and of surface plates during manufacture, instalation and restoration. It also measures the flexing of machine components under the weightof the part being machined or due to tool force.
The EDA electronic level is less expensive and easier to use than an auto-collimator or a laser and does not require and atmosphere free of air movements nor a checked humidity.

The level requires no maintenance.
Autonomous type with rechargeable battery. One "BAT" signall appears when the battery needs charging. An external plug can automatically recharge the battery.
